Over the past several seasons, I've learned to take care of the 2-stroke Mercury engine that powers my family's six-decade-old boat. The 1984, 90 HP still runs as well as ever, and maintaining it has improved many of my mechanical skills while paying off with rewarding summer fun. Successfully performed a major repair in 2020 to replace the motor's swivel pin , averting catastrophic mechanical failure.
