My name is Adam DiBiase and I currently live in Boston where I will be completing my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Design at Northeastern University in Spring 2025. I grew up in Jamestown, Rhode Island, and for as long as I can remember I've loved making things and learning about how the world works around me. I'm passionate about applying design and engineering tools to improve the lives of others and build a more sustainable and equitable world for the future.
I spend much of my free time exploring Boston by bike or T, and enjoying the wonderful Emerald Necklace Parks which I'm lucky enough to live next-door to. I'm extremely appreciative of the MFA and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museums, practically in Northeastern's back yard, where I especially love learning about their 17th-century Dutch collections.
Over the past several years, I've been drawn towards the field of transportation, particularly multimodal urban transportation systems. I am very fascinated with how transportation decisions can shape people's day-to-day experiences and the economic, physical and social structures of a society at large. My aspirations to professionally pursue transportation were affirmed during my amazing internship at Bike Newport in Summer 2024, and I plan to continue building my skills and expertise in the field.
